Children’s Health Services – parents’ views wanted

Following the recent debate over the new Health and Social Care Act, the Department of Health set up a Children and Young People’s Forum, to inform the development of a Children and Young People’s Health Outcomes Strategy. The Forum is now asking for parents’ views to make sure the strategy reflects the issues they consider important. This is the chance to have your say about speech and language therapy or any other relevant aspect of the NHS.

It will not take long to respond. There are only 4 questions, clearly aimed at parents. For details of how to express your views, see the Department of Health website.

NB The closing date is 30 April 2012, so try to respond as soon as you can, and encourage other parents to do the same.
