Afasic Helpline for parents who have children with problems talking and understanding what others say.

Recently, a parent who called the Helpline had mentioned in passing that her child had been ‘bumped up’ the waiting list, which led our advisor to say, ‘how do you know that it’s been done?’

Whilst we remain optimistic that the professionals are working together with parents and have each child’s best interests at heart, there is no harm in parents taking that extra step to double check information for themselves.

It can be all too easy receiving information second or even third hand, so be proactive, ask the questions and find out the information for yourself.
