The AGM was due to be held in Cardiff on 21 November. However, adverse weather conditions and travel disruption meant that it had to be adjourned due to low numbers.  The Trustee Board have agreed to hold the adjourned meeting on 1 December at 14:30 at Central Office, 20 Bowling Green Lane, London EC1R 0BD to transact more »

Elizabeth Browning (1924–2012)

Elizabeth Browning came to Afasic as a parent in 1970, and was invited by Margaret Greene, founder of Afasic, to join the Trustee Board as Chairman.  In 1973, she wrote a book, “I Can’t See What You’re Saying” based on her experiences with Jarvis, her son. Afasic VP, Professor Gillian Baird awarded OBE

Congratulations go to Professor Gillian Baird who was awarded an OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours. Gillian, an Afasic Vice President, was honoured for her services to medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London.
