Afasic England, as a member of the Council for Disabled Children’s Partnership Board, has written to the relevant Minister, Edward Timpson, expressing a range of concerns about the new draft legislation on the reform of provision for children and young people with special educational needs.

Linda Lascelles, Afasic CEO, said that “Afasic, along with many other organisations,  is seeking reassurances that the new legislation will create a framework of support that is in the best interests of the children and young people that we represent.”
