The Independent Police Complaints Commission – (IPCC) will be producing new guidelines on how to handle complaints from disabled people in 2015. Disability Rights UK have been asked to gather samples of disabled people’s experiences of discrimination involving the police. If you have experienced poor treatment by the police, then Disability Rights UK would like to hear from you! It doesn’t matter if you have or have not made a formal complaint and they are particularly interested in complaints within the England and Wales areas.
