On 6th March, speech and language therapists across Europe celebrated their profession with the 12th annual European Day of Speech and Language Therapy. We at Afasic, support children, young people and their families affected by speech, language and communication disabilities and know how important the work of SLTs is.
Linda Lascelles, the CEO of Afasic notes ‘We are really delighted to have contributed to this important day. It has been the perfect opportunity to raise awareness of SLCN specifically dyspraxia, which was this year’s topic. Afasic is a parent lead organisation and it’s fitting that we celebrate alongside SLTs.’
