SCIP survey

Dr Catherine Adams from the University of Manchester is leading a feasibility study of a new evidence-based intervention, the Social Communication Intervention Programme (SCIP), for children who have Social Communication Disorder (SCD, also known as Pragmatic Language Impairment/PLI).

This research is supported by National Institute for Health Research, Research for Patient Benefit Programme. Findings from this study will inform the feasibility of a future large-scale randomised controlled trial of SCIP intervention.
